Welcome to your May D Blast. While we are all getting used to the world's "new normal," we are hoping that you've been entertained by some of the things we've been doing on the band's website and social media channels.
* John just did his first Stone Love Bass Odyssey tutorial, showing fans how the band put together the track "Planet Earth." After the first episode debuted, John and Chromeo's Dave 1 did a LIVE Instagram chat together which is archived on the band's Instagram page. John will be doing a series of these tutorials and interviews, every Wednesday, so please stay tuned!
* Nick made a 2.5 hour appearance with Italy's famed DJ Red Ronnie for his first live interview on social media! It aired on Ronnie’s Facebook and YouTube channels, and fans had a great time participating with Nick!
* Roger put together a House Party playlist for his April 26th birthday and left a birthday message for fans to thank them for all the greetings they left.
* We've received amazing feedback from everyone on the video Watch Parties we've been doing on the band's Facebook page and will be scheduling another one for mid-May.
*If you didn’t read the news on socials or online, Duran Duran have joined forces with Omaze to give you the chance to win VIP tickets to a concert when they go back on tour. The lucky winner will also score a video chat and virtual photography session with Nick! The best part is every donation will help the Heal the Healers Now initiative bring stress-reducing Transcendental Meditation to medical providers battling COVID-19.
