Hello Katy, I was listening to "Tel Aviv" from the first album the other day, and it struck me that I'd never seen a credit for the arrangement or performance of the strings on the piece. Can you shed any light on this? Thanks, Scott
"The strings for "Tel Aviv" were arranged by Richard Myhill and it was the first time we had ever used an orchestra. Colin Thurston, our Producer, suggested him as they'd previously worked together. We weren't quite sure how it was going to sound, but needless to say it was an inspired arrangement. We have only ever played the song live on two occasions: once with an orchestra in Florida and once in Paris with Mark Ronson and his string section. Thanks for the question, the Band"
