Hi Katy, I have a question that has been bugging me for some years! Just before the release of The Reflex, I read in the press- Melody Maker- that the 12" version would be called 'Thundering New York Mix'. But when released it was the dance mix. Was there ever a 'Thundering New York Mix'? And if so why wasn't it released? Thanks, Lee

"Hi Lee, I checked with the fellas. As far as they are aware, the only remix they did was the extended Nile Rogers mix which they believe is known as "The Dance Mix." They imagine there was some talk of calling it "The Thundering New York Mix" as it was mixed in NYC. It seems like a slightly more inspired title than "Dance Mix" but we guess the title slipped thru the cracks, but henceforth, the band has decided to only refer to it as "The Thundering New York Mix."
