Hi Katy! Have just been listening to some Arcadia remixes, and am quite fascinated by the Fact and Story Mix of Election Day. In the middle of the remix, there is a spoken passage... is this a quote from a book? Or something made especially for the remix? Ellie

THEIR MEMORY IS SOMEWHAT HAZY, YET THEY IMAGINE YOU ARE REFERRING TO A SPOKEN MONOLOGUE DELIVERED BY MISS GRACE JONES. IT WAS IN FACT PART OF THE ORIGINAL ALBUM VERSION OF "ELECTION DAY" BUT PERHAPS RATHER MORE NAKED ON THE VERSION TO WHICH YOU REFER. OR, THEY ARE COMPLETELY OFF BASE!
