Dear Katy, It seems that Simon changed his style of singing somewhere between "Big Thing" and "Liberty" (a lyric that personifies the old style would be when Simon sings "The killing jar" in Secret October). A singer once told me that singers either sing from their chest, or from their head (if that makes sense!), and singing from ones head is more difficult. I wonder if Simon could shed some light on this and whether or not he did, in fact, change his style of singing during this period. Keep up the great work! Scott
