"Hi Virginia, Collaborations usually come about after lengthy discussions. In the case of Gerard, it was a suggestion made by our friend Tommy, and immediately inspired by excitement in the band as we all his work with My Chemical Romance.

I have to say, Gerard was completely charming and couldn't have been easier to work with. We hope to work with him again. As for Kelis and Mark, they were on the album. We had been looking forward to performing "The Man Who Stole a Leopard" with the extraordinary Kelis ever since she sung on the album. We try to take Mark every where we can, he is always a great pleasure for us to work with and the David Lynch show would not have felt complete without him. In fact, it was Mark who suggested our final guest, Beth Ditto. He'd recently been working with her and thought she'd be perfect for "Notorious," and as usual, he was right.
