Hi Katy, this one is for Simon about the un-used lyrics for "Nite-Runner." In the RCM DVD I'm hearing a line something like "I see you over there don't wanna stand and stare." Can Simon or any one else explain why this line was dropped from the final edit? DEN 🙂

"It's probably a sort of surviving sketch lyric; the kind which I use to find the rhythm or meter of the words before I write them out properly. It's interesting because I don't actually remember doing a sketch for "N-R". I do remember that the song was originally titled "Night Crawler" and evolved quite rapidly into the song that now exists.

I have to say that compared to any of the current lyrics of the song, the line you are hearing seems weak in comparison. Does that answer your question? whhhhhhhhhh...sh"
