Hiya John, When you worked with Dave Gahan on the Roxy Music album did you give him any advice about writing/recording a solo project? Because I have his two solo CD's and they remind me a lot of your first two solo albums, FEELINGS ARE GOOD & THE JAPAN ALBUM. Many thanx. Kevin.

"I don't think I discussed solo direction with Dave. I think he was aware of what I was doing at least as far as 'FAGAOL' was concerned, but I never played him anything off 'The Japan Album'. Don't remember doing so, anyway... It's only natural that Dave is going to
want to rock a little, away from his native band given the opportunity, shake a tail feather as it were. JT"
