Katy, Given John and Simon's stated fondness for football, and with England now but a dot in the rear view mirror, would either of them like to state a preference for either France or Italy in Sunday's World Cup final? - stuporfly

"Well, it's a tough one. Italy is a home from home for DD and I feel very close to the people and the culture. Having said that, I've had quite a bit of fun en Francais over the years. Zidane's performance against Brazil was perhaps the most perfect I have seen any player give anywhere. This is one of those situations where to be non-partisan is perfectly cool.
