A question for Katy or one of the guys with a good memory for dates:Could you please tell me the correct date for the press conference featured on the Sing Blue Silver video, possibly held at the Magic Castle Club in LA in the early 1980s?  The DD timeline sets it at 1983, but since their large N American tour started end Jan/early Feb in 1984, I think the date should be Feb 7, 1984.Thanks, Diana in Vancouver, Canada

WELL, YOU ARE DEFINITELY RIGHT ABOUT THE VENUE, IT WAS THE MAGIC CASTLE IN LOS ANGELES. HOWEVER, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE FAINTEST IDEA WHAT DATE THE PRESS CONFERENCE TOOK PLACE….WHILST YOUR ASSUMPTION THAT IT PROBABLY PRECEDED IS ALMOST CERTAINLY CORRECT, THERE IS ALSO A POSSIBILITY THAT IT TOOK PLACE WEEKS OR EVEN SOME MONTHS EARLIER DURING A PROMOTIONAL TRIP TO ANNOUNCE THE FORTHCOMING SHOWS.
