Dear Katy: This question is for Nick. Nick, I was wondering if you still have or use any of the synthesizers that were used in the recording of the early Duran albums (the first, Rio, Seven, etc.) I know you had a Crumar string synth and a Fairlight at one point. Are they still in use, or have they been banished to the synth graveyard? Will we hear any of them in use on the new CD? Thanks! Joe

"Actually, most of my synthesizer friends are still alive and well. A couple of them needed some surgical attention, but even the flat-liners made it back. Sadly, the Fairlight is M.I.A. but all other members of the squadron still report for active duty and can be heard on this upcoming release as well."
