John, I recall that when duran's last single, "Someone Else Not Me," was released, you said it had all the proper ingredients for a hit song. Are you concerned at all, considering today's dismal (chart) music climate that your new effort will not be warmly embraced by top 40 radio? Does chart success still matter to you? And regardless, I will be lined up, the day it is released. Thank you! Chris
"Frankly Chris, I think that song was not a hit because the video was absolutely wrong- but that's only my opinion. Of course we hope our new record finds love at radio and people buy it in droves, but right now all we're concerned with is making an album we all feel good about, and that we can all enjoy. "
