Hi Katy! This question is for anyone in the band who would like to answer. I've always been curious about the 12" single of "Careless Memories". It stands out to me, because it is the only single from that era that was not remixed/re-recorded as an extended "Night Version". Can anyone explain this choice? Was there ever a "Night Version" of "Careless Memories" that the band deemed unacceptable for release? Thanks for any information you can provide.Sincerely,Marshall

NICK TOOK THIS: "Well spotted. I seem to remember we felt that the song was a little to fast (at the time) for a groove version. And actually, it was a single the record label choose. We wanted to go with Girls on Film."
