I've scene my fair share of Duran Duran shows including the weekend that
Duran Duran played in Cleveland when Michael Hutchence passed away. It was a
very emotional show for the band especially for Simon. One question I've always wondered is who picks the song list for each tour? Does the band pick all the songs or does the record company usually have a say in what songs are played? Mike

HI MIKE. DURAN DURAN CHOOSE EVERY SONG THEY PLAY LIVE. THEY REHEARSE BEFORE A TOUR TO CHOOSE WHAT SONGS SOUND THE BEST AND IN WHAT ORDER THE SET SHOULD RUN IN. THEY PICK A "B SIDE" EVERY NOW AND AGAIN (LIKE SECRET OKTOBER) AND ALSO LIKE TO MIX IN SOME NEW STUFF FROM WHATEVER THE MOST CURRENT CD IS.
