Dear Katy, I had the opportunity to meet those oh-so-cheeky yet charming Durans during their U.S. tour last summer. Sigh. Am still swooning. The guys were very kind and indulged many numbers of photos, autographs, cell-hone calls to unsuspecting fans at home, and much banter. And who knew that Nick Rhodes could speak so eloquently on the subject of mullet haircuts? Quite the renaissance man, eh?
Went to see the re-made re-modeled Roxy Music several weeks ago. I recall that Duran Duran are quite big fans of Bryan Ferry et al, considering Roxy Music a big influence. I'm wondering if any Duran Duran members had been to see the show, and what they thought. If Duran Duran covered a Roxy Music song, which one would it be? Thanks much!

HI KRISTA. I KNOW JOHN WENT TO THE SHOW IN LOS ANGELES AT THE GREEK THEATRE AND REPORTED BACK TO NICK THAT HE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT. NICK WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO SEE ONE OF THE SHOWS, BUT UNFORTUNATELY, SO FAR, HE HAS BEEN AROUND WHEN THEY WERE IN CONCERT. NICK CHOOSES MOTHER OF PEARL OR IN EVERY DREAM HOME A HEARTACHE, BUT IT WOULD BE TOUGH TO BETTER THE ORIGINALS, SO HE DOESNT THINK THEY WILL BE DOING THEM ANY TIME SOON.
