Hi Katy, As a Durannie living in Andy's 'homeground' of the North East of England I was wondering if you could ask him whether he still owns the Rio wine bar in Whitley Bay? I remember he owned it in 1984/5 and all the guys went there when they came up to promote The Wild Boys on TV. If he sold it could you ask why - and also does he ever come back to the North East these days to see family or friends? Thanks! Sandra

HI SANDRA. WE GET MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RIO BAR AND HERE IS YOUR ANSWER: "No, I haven't had anything to do with the "Rio" bar for about 12-years or since it became a strip joint, which was not a direction I wished to pursue.
And yes, I often got to the North-East to see relatives. Andy T."
