Hi Simon! I love the band’s new song, FREE TO LOVE. I cannot stop listening to it. I know you don’t explain your songs, but on ‘Free To Love,’ what was the first image or phrase that anchored the whole song for you?” Thanks for the music, COBEE

"Hi Cobee, Actually I think it was a suggestion from John Taylor. I was singing the melody and had that musical hook and john was playing around with words and he said “what about free for love” and I thought that sounded like, “hi , I am in the market!” and thought, "what about FREE TO LOVE?" You have to be free to love. You have to be free of fear and anxiety in a way to really love. It makes you free as well and I like the idea of being free TO love and it just stuck. And everything else was written around that hub of an idea. Thanks for the question...s"
