They have played on stages from Sydney to Paris to New York but a village pub in Somerset was perhaps not on the list of venues you would expect to see Kylie Minogue and Duran Duran.
The world-renowned musicians were at the Ring o' Bells in Compton Martin last night appearing on stage in the bar to the delight of villagers at the North Somerset pub.
Duran Duran who are in the middle of a world tour, played a full set of their greatest hits before being joined on stage by the Aussie pop princess Kylie.
And it wasn't even Kylie's first appearance there - she performed at the Ring o' Bells, a small village pub in the Chew Valley, in 2010.
The pub is part-owned by the boss of Parlophone Records Miles Leonard, and the company's Christmas party takes place most years there.
30 pub regulars were also invited to a 'special Christmas party' but none of them were aware that a line-up of stars was waiting behind the curtain.
"We were invited along to have a Christmas drink and when they came on stage we couldn't believe it." – FARRELL LAWRENCE, REGULAR AT THE RING O' BELLS
"It was just amazing. Everybody who was there could not believe it." – ROB BAKER, COMPTON MARTIN VILLAGER
