Duran Duran have announced their new tour to coincide with their as-yet-untitled new album, which will be released this autumn. Classic Pop have interviewed the band for a major feature which will be published around the album.

Discussing the tour, Simon Le Bon told us: “I’ve loved making the album, but I still feel most at home on stage.” Nick Rhodes added: “Simon gets a bit funny if he’s not in front of a crowd for too long. The new songs feel like they should go down very well when we play them live.”

The album will be announced shortly. It’s produced by Mark Ronson, Nile Rodgers and Mr Hudson with guests including Kiesza, John Frusciante and – on first single Pressure Off – Janelle Monae.

Tickets for the tour are £35-£65, on sale from Friday June 19. Pre-sale tickets including VIP packages go on sale from Monday via www.duranduran.com
