Duran Duran have put Kanye West's name forward for the next James Bond theme.
It was recently suggested by Sam Smith that Ellie Goulding has been recruited for upcoming Bond movie Spectre.
Speaking to the Daily Star, however, the new wave band have dismissed the idea of Goulding singing the theme, describing the singer as not "interesting" enough.
Bassist John Taylor told the paper: "I don't see Ellie Goulding for Bond. Kanye West, Daft Punk or somebody interesting would be better. How about Florence And The Machine?"
Drummer Roger Taylor added: ''I think Kanye would do a great job of taking it down a different avenue.''
The band, who recorded the theme for 1985 Bond film A View To A Kill, also tipped Sam Smith himself for the role with Taylor adding: ''Sam Smith is the no brainer, if they can get him then they will and it would be a smart choice for Sam. He's in a very interesting phase of his career.''
