Duran Duran and Nile Rodgers have reunited — along with Mark Ronson — to collaborate on the band's forthcoming new studio album.
The trio were pictured together in an in-studio photograph, shared through Duran Duran's social networks on Aug. 10. The band's 14th studio set is tentatively due for release in the spring of 2015. Duran Duran's official site terms both Rodgers and Ronson as "producers," so perhaps both will co-produce material on the upcoming release.
Rodgers and Duran Duran have worked together numerous times in the past. He co-produced the band's Notorious album (featuring the title track, which was a No. 2 Billboard Hot 100 hit), "The Wild Boys" single (another No. 2 hit) and remixed the No. 1 hit "The Reflex" to great success. He also co-produced tracks on Astronaut.
Ronson co-produced Duran Duran's last studio album, 2010's All You Need Is Now.
Duran Duran will soon be seen performing on CBS' Fashion Rocks special, which will be broadcast live from New York's Barclays Center on Sept. 9.
