Duran Duran have the cancelled all remaining tour dates on their "All You Need Is Now" tour due to an illness that has stricken keyboardist Nick Rhodes.

The band initially announced Tuesday that a show scheduled for tomorrow (Aug. 29) at the Ravinia Festival near Chicago has been canceled. It joins nixed dates from over the weekend in Atlantic City and Pittsburgh, as well as a tour stop tonight in Kettering, Ohio. Later Tuesday, the group announced that they had been "forced to cancel the remaining shows" on the tour's North American leg, the conclusion of the band's world tour.

"Rhodes, who has been unwell now for over a week, was advised by doctors today that he is not yet ready to perform," a message reads on the band's website.

The band says the 50-year-old Rhodes has been sick for a week and is experiencing the same type of symptoms that kept him off the stage since the weekend.

"I feel completely helpless over the situation and all I can do is apologize to our fans," Rhodes said on Sunday when the "Rio" band announced the Pittsburgh news.

According to an earlier statement, Rhodes could be suffering from some type of viral infection.

The New Wave/pop-rock icons recently paused the tour to headline a concert marking the opening of the Olympic Games at London's Hyde Park, where they played a mix of hits spanning more than 30 years.
