A 21 year old recent Sydney Film School graduate has scored instant attention directing, filming and editing the new video clip for pop legends Duran Duran.

The official video by Andrew Pearce, Before The Rain, from the recent album All You Need is Now, was chosen from a raft of international entrants coordinated by Genero.tv.

Shot on Pearce's family farm, keyboardist Nick Rhodes described the work as 'sublime and heartbreaking'.

Pearce pockets $5000 plus the screening of the clip prior to DD concerts around the world and inclusion in a DVD compilation.
