A while back, I believe it was Nick who mentioned that a 3cd Anniversary Edition of RIO is in the works. Having just picked up U2's rerelease of "The Joshua Tree" with an additional audio cd of rare tracks and dvd of an '87 performance, I'm wondering if we'll see RIO getting as similar treatment in the near future. "I am not sure exactly when EMI plan to release the "RIO" triple CD package, but there was certainly bonus material. I believe they were also looking to include live tracks from a concert we did at that time & possibly the mixes from the "CARNIVAL" EP, which has never been re-released. Let's hope they don't wreck it with packaging cut backs...NR"
