Hey Katy. quick question for the guys regarding the song, "One Of Those Days" - at the beginning, when Simon counts "1,2" over and over, was that just a way of keeping track of the beat in the song that got left in there... or some sort of calming down method which could be related to the lyrics? also, I noticed the song was written in July 2004 in the Astronaut booklet. Was this the final song written for the album? Any other tidbits relating to the song the band would like to share would be great too. Thanks! Trevor

IT WAS THE LAST SONG TO BE COMPLETED ON THE ASTRONAUT ALBUM, RECORDED WITH DALLAS AUSTIN. THE COUNTING ON THE INTRO OF THE SONG IS ACTUALLY A SAMPLE WE MADE AND IS THERE FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN THE BAND LIKED THE SOUND OF IT. THE BAND DID PERFORM THE SONG LIVE AT SEVERAL SHOWS ON THE LAST TOUR AND IT'S ONE OF NICK'S PERSONAL FAVORITES FROM THE CD!
