Fun in the Grooves

Ask Katy

Hi Katy, First of all, Would someone please explain is great – thank you (and the band)! I’ve got a question that should put the band members’ memories to the test: what does ‘Michael I’m about to explode’ mean? (It’s pressed into the run-off groove of the original pressing of the first album, but if you want to have some fun with them, don’t tell them that until they ask). Thanks for being our special link! All the best, David Ben-Asher, Amsterdam

"Great question David. I checked with the guys and they told me it was something Paul Berrow used to say to his brother Michael - and it always made the guys laugh (though that was not Paul's intended effect). The band said the primary reason they're missing albums so much lately is they're no longer able to have fun in the grooves....Katy"
