What could be better than the news that both bands are recording new material?.... yes, life is good. Anyway, what was it like working with the legendary Andy Mackay on the So Red the Rose album? IT WAS A GREAT PLEASURE FOR US TO WORK WITH ANDY MACKAY HAVING SPENT MANY YEARS LISTENING TO HIM PLAY ON ROXY MUSIC RECORDS. HE CAME TO RECORD WITH US IN PARIS AND PLAYED ON SEVERAL TRACKS, MOST NOTABLY "LADY ICE" AND "ELECTION DAY," WHERE HE PLAYED A SPECTACULAR SOLO OVER THE ENDING OF THE SONG. HE WAS VERY GRACIOUS AND I THINK WE LOOKED AFTER HIM PRETTY WELL AND RETURNED HIM BACK IN GOOD SHAPE.
