SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO TO EXTEND CHANNEL DEDICATED TO POP ICONS DURAN DURAN

WHO: English pop icons, Duran Duran

WHAT: SIRIUS Satellite Radio announced today that it will extend Red Carpet Radio, the 100% commercial-free channel hosted by influential British pop icons, Duran Duran.

The channel premiered on November 13th to celebrate the release of the band’s new album Red Carpet Massacre and features shows hosted by band members Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, and Roger Taylor.

Exclusive features on the channel include members of Duran Duran playing and discussing their all-time favorite albums, backstage memories from their early years on the road, and punk and reggae specials hosted by the band.

MORE: Red Carpet Massacre, Duran Duran’s much anticipated new studio album was released in the US on November 13th, and features collaborations with Justin Timberlake and super producer Timbaland. The band performed ten concert dates at the famed Barrymore Theatre on Broadway to celebrate the album’s debut.
