"Hi Jennifer, the only person I met and really did get tongue
tied with was David Bowie. I sat opposite him at dinner once in the early 80s. Confronted with my childhood hero face to face, I became totally awestruck and lost for words for the whole evening. I was constantly looking around the restaurant with a panicked look on my face trying in vain to spot someone that could come rescue me and put me out of my misery. I'm sure he left thinking "some of those Duran guys really are very odd." ...RT"
