I have always admired the cover-art from Medazzaland.  (Too bad it wasn't pressed on vinyl)  I was wondering if the original is an oil painting, what the approx. dimensions are and if any of the band members own it.  I have also
spotted the hidden picture of John and it looks as though someone was painted over it.  I'm assuming it was altered after he left??  Thanks, Shaun

IT IS AN ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING DONE BY ANDREW DAY, WHO ALSO DESIGNED THE REST OF THE PACKAGE. THE PAINTING IS ABOUT FOUR FOOT SQUARE, IF MEMORY SERVES & RESIDES IN THE DD ARCHIVE.  NOT QUITE SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO JOHN - HE IS ABSTRACTLY FEATURED WITHIN THE BOOKLET, AS OF COURSE, HE DID WRITE AND PERFORM ON SEVERAL SONGS ON THE ALBUM.
