Simon, along with others such as Kim Appleby, Alison Moyet, Ray Davies, Ian Brown, Finley Quaye and Allison Clarkson, will be judging the Best Song Musically & Lyrically category for the Ivor Novello Awards. There are two jury meetings: The first is where he and the others will listen to the nominees and come up with a short list and the second is where they will decide the winner and 2 runners up.

The Award Ceremony will be a luncheon on May 22nd at the Grosvenor House Hotel in the UK
