Hi Katy, I was reading through the tourbook from the recent shows, and I came across a funny part in Roger's memories of Duran Duran. He says about the band coming together..."The two final pieces of the jigsaw came along pretty soon though - first Andy with his raw edged talent and encyclopaedic knowledge of music put the musical backbone into the band (God forbid if anyone hit a bum note or missed a beat once Andy was around!)"

I'd like to know what Andy has to say about that last quote, "God forbid if anyone hit a bum note or missed a beat once Andy was around!" Was he a perfectionist when the band was rehearsing and what did he actually do if someone hit a bum note or missed a beat? Thanks, Nuno

"I was never that hard, just always wanted to sound better than any of the other bands around at the time, and I really think we did and now we sound even better, which is all I really care about, and I don/t need to remind anybody about much these days because everybody has a lot of pride in what they are doing and we all play & sing an awful lot better in 2003.
