Hey Katy. Today, I was flipping through the channels on my TV and I came across an old movie from 1932 called "Bird Of Paradise", about a shipwrecked playboy who falls for the Polynesian princess he meets on the island. Normally, I wouldn't think much of the fact it was the same lyric used in the song Rio, but what got my attention was that the woman who starred as the princess was named Dolores Del Rio. So my question for the band is if I came across something that inspired some of the lyrics (and perhaps even album title) to Rio or if I came across a very weird conincidence. Thanks.
