Hello Katy,I realize that Simon is the voracious reader of the group, but I was wondering if any of the three Brummies (Roger, Nick, John) had yetread The Rotter's Club by Jonathan Coe? And if so, would they say it is a realistic portrayal of Birmingham teen life in the seventies? I personally find the book to be fascinating reading, though I must admit, the West Midlands phrasing is sometimes a bit difficult for this American to decipher! Thanks, Patton xxx
