roger on the powerstation

I've just recently looked at the credits on the 1st Power Station album & it has Roger on there for "Percussion". Roger, how extensive was your work on the album & how did it come about? Thanks Eric

"Eric-yes I did do some work on 'Some like it hot' I played 'octobans' on the start of the song and the mddle section -these are the drums that I used on 'Wild Boys' that look a bit like drainpipes but sounded great-they were very big in the 80s for about 5 minutes!Bernard Edwards who was producing the album had heard the 'Wild Boys' drum sound and thought it could work for 'Some like it Hot'. Boosh! Roger"
