Hi Katy, I was watching Sing Blue Silver the other day and there's this part which catches my attention everytime I see the video... it's when they all are talking to Russel Mulcahy and Nick says that he thought it'd be cool to do something while playing Save A Prayer... The thing he described there was similar to what they did after with The Chauffeur instead: Simon being out of the stage but a camera would follow him so the people who went to the concert would see the band on stage, and Simon on the screen... (I'm trying to make this shorter :P) My questions are: am I right and what Nick described with Save a Prayer is the same, or similar to what they did on The Chauffeur? and *if* I'm right, why did you choose The Chauffeur and not Save A Prayer for that? Thanx a lot for your attention!!! I'm really happy you're all back... Greetings from Argentina, Ces...
NICK CAN'T REMEMBER AS HE HASN'T WATCHED "SING BLUE SILVER" SINCE 1983 AND CAN'T RECALL THE EXACT DETAILS OF THE CONVERSATION. HE SAYS THOUGH, IT IS PERFECTLY FEASIBLE THAT VIDEO AND LIGHTING DISCUSSIONS ABOUT ANY SPECIFIC SONG COULD LEAD TO IDEA WHICH ACTUALLY WORK BETTER FOR OTHER SONGS IN PRACTICE
