generation of fans

Hi Katy I would like to ask Duran Duran a question. In the 80's you said that you were not a teeny bopper band, but had a huge following of pubescent teenage girls. I would like to know whether you are now grateful that you had those fans, because now so many of us are still followers of your music we have stayed with you (20 years on). Whereas if your following was a much older audience in the 80's, perhaps your following might not be so high now? What is your opinion. My love to you all xxxxx Rache x

VERY INTERESTING QUESTION. I ASKED THE BAND AND THEY SAID THEY ARE ALWAYS GRATEFUL FOR THE SUPPORT THE FANS HAVE GIVEN TO THEM OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS. THEY FEEL IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ANY BAND WHO WANT TO HAVE A LONG CAREER TO HAVE AN AUDIENCE WHO ARE PREPARED TO GROW WITH THE ARTIST. AND EQUALLY AS IMPORTANT TO APPEAL TO NEW GENERATIONS OF YOUNG FANS
