collaborations

Hey, JT! I have been a Duran Duran fan since the eighties. Over the years, we have watched music evolve and take on a new genre as its mainstream. What do you think of the RnB/Hip Hop/Rap revolution? It seems that everyone is collaborating with rappers and other hip hop artists. Do you see any of this in Duran Duran's future? And lastly, what type of audience will you be targeting? P.S. It is good to see all of you together again! Baby D

John answers: "Yeah, it's possible. We did that hook-up with Melle Mel and Grandmaster Flash on "White Lines". It's very possible, but I don't think it's essential. If the right collaboration/suggestion came along then, yeah, I'd be up for trying it. As for target audience, I would say anybody that likes good quality popular music because that's what we're trying to make - a great album of classic pop. "
