Hi Katy I've not heard the answer to this question anywhere, and it's been bugging me for years. Although it would seem that a lot of Duran songs are about love and relationships, it struck me many years ago that the word 'love' is not mentioned in a single lyric until the Big Thing album - that's 7 albums into the band!
