sound of thunder

Hi Katy, I've been a fan of both Duran Duran's music and the writing of Ray Bradbury for many years now. One question I have long wanted to ask Simon is if his lyrics to "Sound of Thunder" were influenced by the short story of the same name by Bradbury. Simon sings "I'm the man who stepped off the path"; in the story, time travelers hunting dinosaurs are forbidden to venture off a silver metal path lest they touch something and alter history. One man steps off the path and kills a butterfly, forever changing evolution which ultimately creates a totalitarian society. Knowing that Simon has always been quite the literary type, the connection wouldn't surprise me. Thank you, Johnny.
