Back in 1985 Nick and Simon hosted a 1 hr. MTV video show during the Arcadia days that featured the guys favorite videos. On the show Keith
Haring was running around decorating these white pieces of construction paper that covered the set. By the end of the show the set was entirely
covered with this great Haring art. I was wondering if either Nick or Simon still had any pieces from that set and if not whatever became of
it?Thanks...

ACCORDING TO NICK, KEITH HARING WAS A CLOSE FRIEND AND A GREAT MUSIC LOVER. THIS WAS BACK IN THE TIME WHEN MTV A LITTLE MORE FELXIBLE SO WHEN NICK SUGGESTED THEY HAVE KEITH COME TO PAINT THE SET THROUGH OUT THEIR SHOW, MTV WERE THRILLED AND EMBRACED THE IDEA. THE PAINTING WHICH KEITH CREATED ON THE SET WAS TAKEN DOWN AFTER THE FILMING AND KEITH TOOK IT AWAY WITH HIM. AS MUCH AS THE GUYS WOULD HAVE LOVED TO KEEP IT THEMSELVES, IT WAS VERY GENEROUS OF KEITH TO COME AND PARTICIPATE AND THEY WOULD NOT HAVE DREAMT OF ASKING TO KEEP IT. SINCE KEITH SADLY DIED, THE GUYS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WORK HE DID THAT DAY.
