The band's annual Halloween extravaganza is coming to the UK for the first time
Duran Duran have announced they are bringing an ‘UK exclusive’ show to Manchester on Halloween.
The iconic British pop-rock group, known for hits including Hungry Like The Wolf and Girls On Film, will be bringing their famed Halloweenevent Danse Macabre to the UK for the very first time.
Taking place at Co-op Live on October 31, fans will be encouraged to dress up for the show, which will consist of a one-night-only exclusive Halloween set filled with the band’s biggest hits and rarely-played songs.
The Danse Macabre Halloween Party was first held at the Wynn Theatre in Las Vegas in 2022, and continued with a sold-out performance at New York’s Madison Square Garden last year which was described as being 'a mix of chills, glamour and fun'.
General sale tickets will be available from 10am on Friday (June 27) via Live Nation and Ticketmaster. Pre-sale tickets, for O2, Mastercard, Live Nation and Co-operative members, will be available from 8am on Wednesday (June 25). Full pre-sale info can be found here.
“We are devilishly delighted to announce that we are bringing our annual Halloween extravaganza to the UK for the first time,” Duran Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes said.
“It will be a unique, themed show unlike any of our other performances, overflowing with shocks and surprises — so even we do not know what may happen on the night…
“We invite you to dress for the occasion and Danse Macabre with us at Co-op Live in Manchester on October 31st.”
Lead singer Simon Le Bon added: "I’m so excited to be coming to Manchester for this special Halloween concert. In fact, I’m thrilled — and, frankly, a little terrified!"
The band's 16th studio album, also titled Danse Macabre, was released back in 2023 and featured new music, darkly reimagined versions of Duran Duran’s classic songs, and cover songs including Talking Heads' Psycho Killer and Billie Eilish's Bury a Friend.
