"The Gerry Anderson exhibition opens this week at the Museum of Brands and runs until February next year. For those familiar with his work, it is a joyful reminder of his remarkable creative vision and the astonishing detail that went into everything he did. For those not so familiar, it is a fantastic window into a time when the world was more handmade; it depicts the triumph of innocence and invention.
I loaned a few pieces from my personal collection, most notably, my childhood Captain Scarlet hat , which I could never bring myself to part with… Memories of the shows have always remained with me and viewing the exhibition reaffirmed just how special and precious they are."
