Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Duran Duran brought their ‘Future Past’ arena tour to The Golden 1 Center on Thursday, August 24th.  The date marked the midpoint of the North American leg of their tour, and drew a massive crowd to the Sacramento arena.  The tour is in support of the band’s 15th studio album, ‘Future Past’, which is its first studio effort since ‘Paper Gods’ in 2015.  The album’s 2021 release kicked off the current tour and marked a major milestone for the band as they toasted their 40th year together.  The Future Past Tour has been met with a trove of favorable reviews which have been bolstered by notably popular supporting acts Bastille, as well as the legendary Nile Rodgers & Chic. The tour finds Duran Duran celebrating a rich artistic legacy while remaining focused on the collaborations that lie ahead.  With several North America dates still remaining, the band is already teasing the release of a 16th album.
