Duran Duran has dropped the first single from its upcoming album, Paper Gods, which arrives Sept. 18 in the United States.

The new funky song -- titled "Pressure Off" -- features vocals by Janelle Monae. The track, which you can listen to below, hit the Internet on Saturday, June 20.

Paper Gods is the Duran Duran's 14th studio effort and first for Warner Bros. Records. (The band signed with the label in March.) The set was produced by Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson, Mr. Hudson and Josh Blair. It also features guest turns from Kiesza, Lindsay Lohan and former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciant.

As previously reported, Duran Duran is booked for series of live shows later this year, including Rodgers' FOLD Festival on Aug. 5. The string of stateside dates also includes stops at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
