Duran Duran have released a new single, Pressure Off, produced by Mark Ronson and featuring both Nile Rodgers and Janelle Monae.
Off their upcoming new album Paper Gods, which will be the first in over five years and will hopefully make-up for 2010’s middling All You Need Is Now, the new track which dropped overnight is some down right disco-ey Britpop magic.
Those inimitable Nile Rodgers guitar licks ride prominent alongside Janelle offering a lighter counterpart to Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, with the pop-side of the equation really ramped up for what could very well be a monster-hit.
In addition to Mark Ronson and Janelle, the new album, due out September, is also reportedly set to feature ex-Red Hot Chilli Pepper’s guitarist John Frusciante.
