On Wednesday, Sept. 10, Duran Duran's concert film Unstaged will screen on more than 300 movie theaters across the country. Unstaged is not a typical rockumentary — it was, after all, directed by David Lynch, of Eraserhead/Blue Velvet/Twin Peaks fame — so Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes is promoting this week's event in a suitably dark, arty, and bizarre manner, via a new clip available exclusively on Yahoo.

In the noirish promo, the silhouetted synth man sits in the dark and recounts one of his fever dreams. We don't claim you'll have any better idea what goes on in Rhodes's pretty platinum head once he's done with his stream-of-consciousness speech, but you'll definitely be intrigued.

Duran Duran: Unstaged, which was shot at L.A.'s Mayan Theater and includes special guest appearances by Kelis, Gossip's Beth Ditto, ex-My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way, and Duran collaborator Mark Ronson, will gets its theatrical release this Wednesday for one night only.
