I just received news of the death of my good friend, and running mate, Michael Farrell. Mike was partners with Wayne Forte at the International Talent Group in New York during The Eighties when they represented Duran along with Bowie, Depeche Mode, Genesis and The Cure. Mike was one of the sweetest guys in the shark tank, tough, but never a brute. Anyone that did business with him would say the same.
We had many a good time together.
Mike lived in Boca Raton, Florida and struggled for two years with pancreatic cancer. He leaves behind him the lovely Yvonne.
One last toast to the good times, Mike, enjoy the encore.

We are sad to tell of the tragic death of Joe Benett, son of English society photographer Dave Benett. Joe died in hospital last week. He was seventeen years old.
The Benett family - Dave, his wife Rosann and their daughter, Joe's sister Camille are, as one would imagine, devastated by this turn of events.
Dave has been a part of our lives for the past twenty-five years, and during that time he has always respected our dignity. In what is an increasingly competitive and intrusive world, he has never crossed the line which we all instinctively draw. After a working relationship with us that is now decades long, we have come to regard Dave with great affection and friendship.
We of Duran Duran would like to express our sympathy and condolences to the Benett family, and to offer our support at this very sad time.
I am informed that donations may be made in Joe Benett's memory to:
