John Simon, Roger & Wendy put together a spectacular party in London for Nick's birthday starting at the Hamilton Gallery, where the art work friends had submitted to commemorate Nick's 50th birthday were on display. There were contributions by all the band members, Sir Elton John, Sir Jonathan Ive, Sir Bob Geldof, Francesco Clemente, Andre Balazs, Anton Corbijn, Bono, Brian Aris, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Cluine Reid, Daniel Libeskind, Dave Stewart, David Lynch, Debbie Harry, Eva Herzigova, Faile, Jonas Akerlund, Jonathan Ross, Juergen Teller, Marc Newson, Moby, Steve Jones, Naomi Campbell, Roberto Cavalli, Stephan Elliot, Vivienne Westwood and Warren Cuccurullo among many others.

After the 'showing,' there was an after party where guests included the band members (of course) Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts, Simon Baker, Ricky Gervais, Boy George , Gary Kemo, Antony Price, Ellen Von Unwerth and many more. Nick said the night was "extraordinary."
