DURAN DURAN FORCED TO POSTPONE SOLD OUT ELECTRONIC BEATS CLASSICS SHOW IN BERLIN

NEW DATE LOCKED IN AT LARGER VENUE

Show moved from Thursday 26 May at The Admirals Palast to June 8 at Tempodrom

On the eve of his scheduled departure for Germany, following the cancellation of the first five dates of Duran Duran's UK tour, singer Simon Le Bon was told by his specialist this afternoon that he needs to continue to rest his voice for the next two days, as his laryngitis improves. This means that the band have been forced to reschedule their sold out Berlin show originally planned for tomorrow night at the Admirals Palast (Thursday 26 May). The new date will play on Wednesday June 8 at Tempodrom in Berlin. Tickets for this larger venue, priced at 34 Euros (plus fees), will go on sale on Friday 27 May at 11.00 am at www.eventim.de.

The band members are hugely disappointed to have had to postpone their German show - which would have marked the start of their 'ALL YOU NEED IS NOW World Tour' - but are confident that Simon will be fully recovered within the next few days, and are relieved that they have been able to find a replacement date so quickly to enable them to continue with the rest of the world tour as planned.

All fans should hold on to their tickets for the Admirals Palast show, as these will be honored for the new date and venue.
